IHRC Names Michael Astwood Chief Operating Officer

IHRC is pleased to announce that Michael Astwood has been named Chief Operating Officer.  In his new role, Mr. Astwood will oversee all of the company's operations as IHRC continues its accelerated growth in the public and private sectors.  He will also continue to lead the Applied Bioinformatics Laboratory (ABiL) partnership with the Georgia Institute of Technology, which provides bioinformatics and genomics solutions and training to scientists at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Mr. Astwood has been with IHRC since 2014 and most recently served as its Chief Science and Technology Officer.  During his tenure, he has been instrumental in driving the company’s rapid growth by strategically expanding its client base and services portfolio while focusing on the exceptional customer service that is a hallmark of the company.
