Feda Masseoud, PhD
President & CEO
Dr. Masseoud has served as the President and CEO of IHRC since early 2021. While in academia, she developed an interest in research and development of medical countermeasures against infectious diseases, particularly those with pandemic potential. Shortly after, she moved into the realm of public health as a subject matter expert supporting multiple public health programs at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), including regulatory affairs, laboratory preparedness and response, diagnostic assay development, and translational research.
Feda is responsible for overseeing all organizational operations, assuring all scientific and technical core competencies remain at the highest standards for excellence and integrity, and that IHRC’s team of exceptional people are challenged and empowered each day. She holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Immunology at The Emory Vaccine Center.
